The first time I discovered the power of color was at the tender age of 4. That Red crayon begged for my touch. Red. Rich and Powerful. Ever since then, I have been affected by color. It moves me. First, it was with the mixing of the oils — a little turpentine and linseed oil – and voila the canvas ignited into fiery crimson hues that danced in my head. Today, I’m still as captivated by how color evokes emotion; how it can tell a story at a simple glance of a palette in all mediums, from the canvas to the page to the video on our screens. The ART is in the color – the story is in all that we hear, see, feel, smell and taste.
